Board Map:

The board map follows our color palette of sage green, butter yellow, and lavender. On each square, you can see either a little picture symbol or instructions on moving forward or back. Each character in the game is symbolized by a specific symbol based on their character profile. For example, since Grandma loves to bake sugar cookies, her symbol is a cookie.

Board Box:

The board box showcases every part of our game. From the game characters, to character cards, our cards, and more!

Activity Cards:

Our Activity Cards are one of the biggest portions of our game. Through thorough research, we’ve found that doing various activities can help patients with dementia, even if they are minimal movement. Our game includes different activities from doing light stretches to making a mouth-noise band and more!

Question Cards:

Our Question Cards are also one of the biggest portions of our game. The questions are designed and aimed to help patients with dementia think about their past, before having dementia. Through research, we’ve found that patients typically remember things up until they have dementia. Once they have dementia, their memory and mind essentially begin deteriorating back to the times when they didn’t have it.

Character Cards:

Our game consists of 5 characters: Grandma, Grandpa, Molly, Mason, and Waggles. We include Character Cards in the game for players to better understand the background and story behind the game.

Other Cards:

In our game, we also include a “How-To-Win,” “Game Background,” and “Instructions” cards for players to gain more information about the game.
